Description
Our Partial Tax Exempt (California) module allows a customer to checkout with reduced tax, provided they are exempted from Tax as per Government rules. Inorder to avail the facility for partial tax exemption ( California), the customer will have to tick a tab and provide his tax certificates ( CDTFA-230-M ; CDTFA-230-MC ) via email to the store owner. Upon confirmation the order will be processed for further action.

Features
For Store owner:
Store owner to enable/disable the Partial TAX Exempt at store level from the configuration
CA Manufacturer’s Tax Exempt and Tax Exempt Checkbox at checkout for Guest Customer with text message
Reduced tax displayed if a guest customer Checked CA Manufacturer’s TAX Exempt option.
Tax is removed if a guest customer Checked TAX Exempt option.
You can Edit Text Message from admin.
CA Manufacturer’s Tax Exempt and Tax-Exempt can be set at customer level i.e you can enable/disable at individual customer level
Totals amount are displayed without tax if an eligible customer with TAX-Exempt is logged in
Totals amount are displayed with reduced tax if an eligible user with CA Manufacturer’s TAX Exempt is logged in.
For Customers:
Shows CA Manufacturer’s Tax Exempt and Tax Exempt Checkbox for guest checkout. If a guest customer selects one of this checkbox, a Text Message appears with email id and TAX will be reduced (CA Manufacturer’s Tax Exempt) or removed (Tax Exempt).
If the admin marks a registered customer as TAX exempt, then a registered customer can place an order with 0% TAX on that order and If the admin marks a registered customer as CA Manufacturer’s Tax Exempt, then a registered customer can place an order with reduced TAX on that order(Only for California).
To configure the required features goto Wp-admin >> Partial TAX Exempt
