Multistore is a very useful feature in PrestaShop 1.5.x. It allows you to create an unlimited number of different stores or websites within a single Prestashop installation. With Multistore, Management and Control are always centralized and you can sell out your products on different domains\/sub-domains sharing the same admin panel. \r\nFollowing are the steps to set up and manage multiple stores in PrestaShop: \r\nEnabling the multistore option:\r\n\r\nLog into your Prestashop admin panel. \r\nNext go to the Preferences menu -> General.\r\n\r\nHere you will see the Enable Multistore option. Select the radio button labeled Yes. It is disabled by default.\r\n \r\nClick Save in the upper right corner.\r\nNext go to the Advanced Parameters. Here you can see new multi-store option.\r\n\r\n \r\nCreate a new shop:\r\n Following are the step to create new shop.\r\n\r\nGo to Advanced parameters -> Multistore. \r\nIt will open multistote page, click on Add New Shop in the upper right corner.\r\n\r\nNow you will be in Add New shop screen. Here you add the details for your new shop.\r\nShop:\r\n\r\nShop Name: Add new Shop name, it is visible to customers and can be changed anytime. \r\nGroup Shop: You can set the in Group.\r\nCategory root: You can use the root of main shop or any category of the catalog as its root. \r\nAssociated categories: You can make particular sub-categories of the main category available in the this shop. \r\nTheme: Select aavailable theme for this shop. \r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nImport data from another shop:\r\n\r\nImport data: Import data from another store.\r\nChoose the Shop (source): Select existing shops from which you want to import data.\r\nChoose data to import: Select different kinds of the data to be imported to the new store from the main shop.\r\n\r\n\r\nclick Save in the top right corner once you finished.\r\n\r\nSetting a shore\u2019s URL \r\nOnce a new shop is created, you will see a warning asking to create a URL for it. Click on it.\r\n\r\nNow you will be on shop url screen with following options.\r\nURL options:\r\n\r\nShop: Select a shop which you are adding a URL.\r\nMain URL: You can redirect all other URL of this shops to this main URL by enabling this.\r\nStatus: You can disable and enable a URL. \r\n\r\nShop URL: \r\n\r\nDomain: Add your main domain or sub-domain. \r\nDomain SSL: It should be changed only if your SSL domain differs from the main domain, otherwise, leave it unchanged \r\nPhysical URL: Set the physical path to your shop on your server. If the shop is at the root, leave this field empty. \r\nVirtual URL: Create virtual location that doesn\u2019t physically. \r\nYour final URL will be: It generate the final url of your site according to the options filled in above. \r\n\r\nNext click Save in top right corner.\r\nNow click the URL to see if it works.\r\n\r\n New shop look like \r\n\r\nCreate a new shop group:\r\nGo to Advanced parameters -> Multistore. \r\nIt will open multistote page, click on Add a New Shop Group in the upper right corner.\r\nNow you will be on shop group screen with following option.\r\n\r\n\r\nShop group name: Add new Shop group name, it is visible to customers and can be changed anytime \r\nShare customers: It allows your customers to use the same login credentials on all shops of this shop group.\r\nShare available quantities to sell: It allows you to make particular sub-categories of the main category available in the new shop.\r\nShare orders: It allows your customers logged on any shop from this group to see their order history for all the shops of the group.\r\nStatus: You can disable and enable a shop group.\r\nOnce you will be finished, click Save in the top right corner. \r\nMultishop Configuration : \r\nAt the top of each screen, you will see a small section named Multishop Configuration For. This has a dropdown where you can choose which store or groups you want to work with.\r\n\r\nAll Shop: It will affect all shops .\r\nGroup: It will affect all shops within that particular group. \r\nIndividual Shop: It will affect only that shop.
